MIND FIELD

The Marquee of the Victorian Theatre

It’s been nine years since we have seen the diverse and eclectic talent on Alien Workshop. Their new video, Mind Field, sticks to their visually stimulating artistic roots with amazing skating. The Victorian Theatre on 16th and Mission hosted the San Francisco premier and all the heavy hitters came through.

ready to be shocked...

Seasoned vet from Photosynthesis, A.V.E. comes through the screen with in your face and gritty skating that just leaves you wowed. To stick on the retro tip, Jason Dill shines through while keeping his level of skating fun and far from hammers. The soundtrack has a good flow that brings the focus to the skating and not to the song. Morrissey, Dinosaur Jr. and Steve Winwood are all featured.

Heath and my friend Ben

Workshop is certainly short of any youth talent. Tyler Bledsoe resurrects the Carlsbad gap and Grant Taylor lays it down in some elite ATL spots. These kids show that Alien’s future is bright. Heath has come a long way from lighting up cigars in bathtubs and has put together his best part to date. So ladies and gentleman do your self a favor and buy this movie. Take a look back in history and support a company that is not jaded and has been legit from day one.
